• Contacts (if you choose to provide them): If you choose to invite family members or build your private POD, we may collect contact details you provide (such as names, email addresses, and phone numbers) to send invitations and manage your POD. We do not access your device’s full contact list without your permission.

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

When you use our website or App, we may automatically collect:

• Device information: such as hardware model, operating system version, language, and device identifiers.
• Usage data: such as screens viewed, features used, session activity, and interactions to help us operate and improve the App.
• Diagnostics: such as crash logs and performance metrics to improve reliability and fix bugs.
• Cookies and similar technologies (website): used to enhance user experience, remember preferences, and analyze traffic patterns.

1.3 Information from Third-Party Services

• Authentication providers: If you choose to sign in using third-party accounts (such as Apple or Google), we may receive limited profile information (for example, a name and email address) subject to your settings and consent.
• Purchases and subscriptions: If you purchase a subscription through Apple’s In-App Purchase system, Apple processes the payment. We do not receive or store full payment card details. We may receive purchase or subscription status information needed to enable App features.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use information to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain our website and App.
• Deliver content shared among members of your Petalz Mosaic POD as directed by you.
• Improve user experience, performance, and reliability (including troubleshooting and analytics).
• Communicate with you regarding updates, new features, service messages, and support.
• Send essential service communications (such as account notices, invitations you initiate, security alerts, and feature-related messages). We do not send marketing messages via email or SMS unless you opt in where applicable.
• Ensure security, detect fraud, prevent misuse, and enforce our policies.
• Comply with applicable laws and lawful requests.

3. Legal Basis for Processing (Where Applicable)

Where required by law (for example, in the EU/EEA), we process personal data only when:

• You have provided consent;

• With your POD participants: User content and certain profile information may be shared with members of your private family network (“POD”) as determined by you and the App’s sharing controls.
• With service providers: We may share information with vendors who help us operate our services, such as cloud hosting providers, analytics and diagnostics services (including Google Firebase), and customer support tools. These providers are contractually required to safeguard information and use it only for authorized purposes.
• For legal and safety reasons: We may disclose information if required to comply with applicable laws, lawful requests, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of Petalz Mosaic, our users, or others.

5. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services. When you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize personal information and associated content within a reasonable timeframe, unless retention is required by law or needed to resolve disputes, enforce agreements, or protect our legal rights.

6. Data Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect your information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. However, no system can be guaranteed 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

PETALZ MOSAIC — COMMITMENT TO CHILD SAFETY

We care deeply about protecting children and keeping our community free from any form of harm or exploitation. Petalz Mosaic is a closed family network. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse material (CSAM), child sexual exploitation, or endangerment.

1. Our Promise

• Keeping our platform free from harmful or inappropriate content involving minors.
• Protecting young users and their privacy.
• Taking quick and serious action if anyone attempts to misuse our services.

2. What’s Not Allowed

We do not allow:

• Any sexual or exploitative content involving minors (including photos, videos, art, messages, or comments).
• Grooming, sextortion, or attempts to contact minors in unsafe ways.
• Sharing or requesting private information from minors for inappropriate purposes.

If we discover apparent CSAM or child sexual exploitation content, we will remove it and report it to appropriate authorities as required by law.

3. How We Keep the App Safe

• We take appropriate action, including removing CSAM, after obtaining actual knowledge of it.
